Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this
Yeah dsm99 I dont need a fully built engine like you even tho I wish I could afford it lol. I already made up my mind tomorrow im taking them to a machine shop to see what can be done and get a stock rebuild and get the car up and running. Yeah I have the new oil pump but the new bearings are included as well ass new rings new piston and I dont know what to do with the rods either buy new ones or better just have the machine shop deal with it. Well tomorrow when I get off work im taking the engine and my other block to see which one be used. So I should be up running by next monday meet. I afraid of the breaking in the new engine and the rings to sit properly but where not there yet so we will see.
Chris did you see the time I did the head gasket change. I cleaned the piston wtf I must have put that by accident since the only pistons I have cleaned were off my old 7 bolt.I don't want to argue I still want to be cool with you. Do you know how bad I could have screwed you over chris if I didnt update this thread I could have blown something a bent valve skippped timing and still told you no chris this engine is no good and I didnt touch anything get my money and you have a POS engine but I straight up told you the truth step by step and nothing good came from it. All I know is that I did not fuck this engine up and im standing by that no matter what. Why do you keep saying you guys I did everything my self.

Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this
Anyways like I said i doesn't matter I bought a messed up engine or so it seems it wasn't no one will ever know besides me since I know I did everything right and chris probably didn't know the engine was messed up but whatever. Im getting a new rebuild engine so whatevers.
Oh yeah chris I do want you to know and to believe me that I did not mess up this engine and basically you got free 500 buxs. If I do sound like like im being immature then im sorry but I know nobody would like to loose 500 buxs like that and suffer for something that I didn't commit now im in debt more and nothing to do now except wait for my new engine.

Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this
Yeah Clint I do forgive him, and I hope he stops feeling bad it was a mistake that we both made. He got the engine as a trade he could have checked for rod play before selling it and maybe this whole situation could have been avoided. In the end i'm not going to say I wasted 500 buxs for nothing. I did get a beautiful head in perfect condition better then my old one. I learned some new things I never knew before. Learned more about these engine. I got paid more in experience. I can officially say im a NOOB that does his own work and did his first complete engine swap with no mistake whatsoever fire right up the first idled perfect but the engine was not good. All in all I learned alot of new things but to everyone who may doubt that I didn't do this on my own I can assure you this whole thread not one person helped me everything done here was done by me. Thanks to everyone who gave me props gus sam clint erix kevin I think jram to lol oh yeah dsm99 lol jerry damn a lot of people. Them saying that made me not quit and keep going. I will come back today with the results of my rebuild.
Oh yeah chris I hope me and you can still be cool and I know you didn't mean to screw me over but shit happens.

Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this
Wtf guys does this sound right 1900 buxs for a full rebuilt new oil pump new internals all this new and just for the bottom block only. Well I found a place that sells these motors used for 350 with 50k miles and 6 month warranty does this sound legit or what do you guys think.

Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this
I have no idea what your talking about chris I didnt tell him to do anything. Im not even at my house right now I did leave my phone charging after I told my dad your werent giving back one penny he blew up and I guess he called you since your contact is obvious. Im still pretty pissed about this even tho we have worked things out if you were in my situation I would have given some money back since you yourself admit it to not checking the engine same thing with me you took somebody elses word saying the engine was good well it wasn't. Even tho everyone says your a good seller you could have given me some money back since it was somewhat your mistake to for not checking the engine. At the last second the guy could have fucked up the engine and gave it to you as payment and you not checking the engine wtf dude. You offer to buy me bearings there like 50 buxs I would just buy them myself. Even if I never took the engine apart you still would not give me my money back for some reason i know you wouldn't. How do I know that you knew the engine was fucked up and since im a noob I didn't now shit. Whatever I seriously didn't like how this ended up by you saying IM STRAIGHT UP NOT GIVING YOU ANY MONEY.

Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this
Dude now that I see it you offered to buy bearings 50 60 buxs is nothing. I don't want my thread to get closed because of this BS and the POS engine I bought from you to begin with I should have just waited and look around for a better engine. That knocking sounds like its been there for a while way to fucking loud for a messed up start up tell me how could I have messed up the engine tell me just how. What the valves hit the pistons no bent valved if i skipped timing like you said the pistons have no kiss marks straight valves there is just no fucking way I could have messed this engine up just no way.

Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this
Yeah wes but its a shop that has many of these engine if mine goes I get another engine.I just want my car to run not looking into making some serious power right now. When I get my 2g running then start saving for a good 6 bolt probably have it rebuild new and then while its out go after market. Right now since its my only option im just going to buy ANOTHER engine swap it and get my car running again.
