 Re: need some suggestions QUICK!!!
So I went to the junkyard today and no luck, I took my relay with me and it plugs into the 3000gt's relay plug as well, does anyone know if the 3000gt's relay will work on mine?

yes. A relay is a relay. Also there are part numbers printed on them, if they are the same numbers, then it will work. But for the most part, alot of mitsubishi electrical is the same from car to car.

 Re: need some suggestions QUICK!!!
Update: Ok so I got a used relay off of a 2g eclipse turbo, I put it on opened the switch and there was no clicking so I felt good about everything. When I turned the key to start the car NOTHING!!! It cranks but no start. I had a friend come over to help me check for spark and he brought along an ECU with him just to try that out. So it turns out there's no spark with my ECU or with the one he brought. He was in a rush so we couldn't check to see if there was fuel but I'm not too sure how to go about that. It turns out my friend had a similar problem, making a left hand turn and his talon just died and wouldn't start, a mechanic diagnosed the problem as a bad CAS sensor I believe (the one my the timing belt). When he got to it it was broken to pcs. He replaced it and has not had a problem since so I'm giving that a shot on thurs or over the weekend.

 Re: need some suggestions QUICK!!!
The crank walk problem has been brought up here as possibly being the problem. I did some research on it and found a website with some common signs of crank walk, a lot of which were clutch related and a lot of problems which I don't have. The symptoms I did have were the car shutting off and a ticking noise in the motor, which I've been told before were the lifters. So my question is if it happens to be crankwalk then how long can I keep that motor running?? I know a 1g swap is the best solution but that isn't cheap or easy to do, at least for me. I can't really afford to do a swap so that's out of the question. My friend has his original 7 bolt with 174xxx miles and he's had the same problem I'm having now. So is it possible for a motor with CW to run as strong as my friends does or is he just lucky his motor still runs???

 Re: need some suggestions QUICK!!!
How long your car runs with crank walk is completely up to your car. My crank play has been out of spec for over three years now and it still runs but I still don't shut down on hard left turns.

 Re: need some suggestions QUICK!!!
Well say I fix the problem and change the sensor will it keep happening or did the sensor give out cause it was time to be replaced. My friend swears his car did the same thing on a turn he replaced that sensor and it hasn't happened since.

 Re: need some suggestions QUICK!!!
no spark = dead transistor pack, dead coils (highly unlikely for both to die) dead crank or cam sensor. The transistor pack is the the big 7 pin connector to the left of the coil pack.
