Re: GM Mass Air vs Speed density???????? dsmlink v3 Got to agree about the speed density vs gm maf....GM maf is too delicate....get a little oil on it and it gives some really jacked up readings. I couldn't figure out why my car wouldn't start, Sam am I and Gus came over....GM Maf was giving a reading like it was getting a lot of air flow....like if the car was boosting.
However, the GM maf has been used and it has been effective. I put 406WHP with the GM Maf...It's been used by countless people and they have been very successfull....
I will be going to SD due to the Vtak sauce messing with the GM Maf

If you don't have any of the sensors yet then this is a pretty good deal.
