Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this
did that one guy stop by your house???...i say just take it to an engine shop most guys can tell you just by the sound whats wrong. like when i had the problem with the gasket the guy at the shop didnt even pop my hood and he was convinced that it was an exhaust leak. just pray that its not the engine man, and if it is lets hit up the junkyard lol

Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this
Well suxs for me looks like im going to be down for a while. I am going to say I did a really awesome job swapping motors tho the seal the lines everything nothing leaks everything is solid. Normal operating temperature idle is dead on at 750 oil pressure is right on the line perfect. Everything was torqued to spec bolted down in order with factory service manual. I am impressed the engine cranked over nice check engine wasnt on man im so happy I was able to do this on my own but suxs for this noise. Well im not giving up on this car we will see what else can be done.

Damn, dude, that sucks. Pull the pan, inspect, take pics, and keep us updated. Hopefully you can salvage this motor.

Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this
I haven't heard the video yet (I'll listen when I go on lunch at 330), but as far as oil brand, I've heard Mobil1 has gone down as far as quality.

Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this
Well I talked to my folks they told me no your not spending any more money on this its dumb. I was like what why its my car I paid for it but they told me that its not going anywere. They either want me to get rid of it as in sell it or junk it. If I have to send this motor to get fixed or rebuild and if im not able to salvage the motor then I will either part out or sell it or have it junked. I also got a complaint saying the car is been sitting there for to long and I make to much noise working on it manager is kinda pist off. hahah Kevin your old dude my engine isnt sounding to good right now. I was told to use deisel oil or something not to fix this but idk.

Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this
If you do the whole diesel make sure its the one I told u (one that is approved to be used on gasoline engines)...there aren't any real gains to it just the whole cleaning property of the oil...there are guys on tuners that have used it for a long time and stand by it 100% I've tried it and have been using it for about 5 oil changes now and so far so good
