Re: Auto to stick in awd gsx 07

Re: Auto to stick in awd gsx 07
im gonna say your suspension is not too good if you feel like your gonna lose control, front and rear 2g oem bumpers are not hard to find at all you just have to look. also sounds like you might be running no cat or a gutted cat, the body kits are not tested in a wind tunnel so they fail at aerodynamics lol

Re: Auto to stick in awd gsx 07
Unburnt fuel. Are you recirculating your BOV properly back into the intake stream?

Re: Auto to stick in awd gsx 07
hard or soft isnt going to make it back fire. Make sure its recirculated, as in there is a type of rubber tube that goes from the BOV to the intake pipe.

Re: Auto to stick in awd gsx 07
doing a A/T AWD swap to a M/T AWD swap isn't that bad if you can find a part out... -outside the car- AWD M/T, M/T xfr case, M/T center diff. <--- these must be from the same model year ('95 - '96 or '97 - '99) because the gearing changes. M/T flywheel bolts, flywheel, clutch, OEM throwout bearing, clutch fluid reservoir, clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, full SS clutch line, M/T starter plate & bell housing cover, M/T vehicle speed sensor, & M/T motor mounts. -inside the car- M/T pedals, shifter linkage, shifter bushings, & shifter. <--- the pedals, bushings, & shifter itself can come from a N/T dsm. you can use your A/T center console but you won't have a shifter boot to cover everything up unless you find one of those as well.
i have 800+ pictures of my swap so feel free to shoot me a pm for pictures or questions if your serious about doing it. i want to say i spent $2500 to convert my dsm from a A/T GST to a M/T GSX while upgrading stuff along the way i.e. ACT 2600 clutch, lightened flywheel, short shifter, & front and rear sway bars.
unless you swap a M/T wiring harness your reverse lights won't work and you'll have about 8 connectors that go no where that were used with your A/T.

Re: Auto to stick in awd gsx 07
Theres this thread here I have been reading this thread NON-STOP!!!! A lot of good info here dude. The 5 speed swap starts around the 2nd page. The first page is mostly about 6 bolt. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/bolt-te ... -swap.html
