 Stuttering Talon
So i first asked help on the "New To LADSM" Section and they told me to write it here so here it is and i hope some one can help >_< Well when i first went 2 go check out the car the previous owner warned me dat the car recently started 2 stutter on her but the Mechanics told her it wasn't the Transmission so my friend gg (Hectik) told me it could be sumthing small so i bought it plus i sorta needed the car.About 3 days later it started to stutter when i would drive the car 4 a good while and sumtimes it wouldn't pass first gear and if i would push it it would turn off on me so my friends thought it would be the Fuel Filter so i went on and changed it but it just got worst so then they guessed it would be the Fuel Pump so i went 2 the Junk Yard yesterday with Erix and Hectik and pocketed the Fuel Pump but when we were done changing it it was still there so now we are stuck and all they can guess is it could either be Map Sensor,Spark Plug but they r gonna check the car 2day 2 c if i can get another CEL so they can use the computer thingy so if any1 knows wat the problem could be please help Update:I Changed The Coil Pack,Spark Plugs and Wire and still the same problem

 Re: Stuttering Talon
explain 'stuttering' Is it at a certain RPM range? Check your TPS, check your coil pack connections (wires, harness, harness wires), check the gap on the spark plugs.
I recently had an issue where I was sputtering after 3500 RPM which then began to sputter in the lower RPM range. It ended up being one of the wires to the coilpack harness was broken and had a horrible connection.

 Re: Stuttering Talon
for one thing, it happens randomly, it usually doesn't happen when he's easy on the gas, more of when he WOT it. it might happen just in first gear, sometimes it happens after it shifts into 2nd gear. it 'stutters' like a hesitation when he tries to accelerate. it might 'stutter' for half a second, or up to a <10 seconds, then accelerates normally.
so far we've changed the coilpack, spark plug wires, spark plugs (gapped with a REAL gapper), fuel pump, fuel filter as stated in the O.P.
we've had people suggest the crank angle sensor and/or cam angle sensor.
we've searched on 2gnt and the MAP sensor is mentioned a few times.
