 Boost Gauge problems?????
well my autometer boost gauge is telling me when i turn the car off that it is at 4lbs when it should be at zero. then when i turn it on and im idling its at like 11lbs when i thought it should be at 15lbs so by my conclusion it seems to be off by 4. can someone help me figure this out if i have a boost leak or something else or maybe just my boost gauge went bad? thanks!

 Re: Boost Gauge problems?????
Sounds like your gauge is jacked up, try another one. If you're still having problems, look for leaks. Idle should be at around 20 vac, btw.

 Re: Boost Gauge problems?????
is it true that when you got an autometer they have warranty for as long as you own them is that true?
because then i would have to buy another one to only find out i have a leak somewhere and my gauge is okay

 Re: Boost Gauge problems?????
borrow someone's gauge and try that out and see what it reads. I would still do a BLT and see if you have any leaks and go from there.

 Re: Boost Gauge problems?????
If you in the market for another boost gauge I'm looking to sell my autometer cobalt boost gauge since I'm going to buy an AEM tru boost gauge this week coming up. Just an option.
