What is this part and do I need it for stock wheels?PIC
I've had Motegi DP6's on my car since I bought it, but I'm switching to stock GST chromies. For some reason though, the wheels will not fit over this little bushing/boot whatever it is. I'm pointing to it in the picture. If anyone can tell me what it is and if I need it I would be eternally grateful!!
the motegi's probably didn't fit centered on the hub, so that may have been an addition put on there so the center of the motegi rim would fit...well....centered.
does it come off easily? if so, go ahead and take it off. put the stock rim on there, the hole in the center of the rim should fit right onto that hub.
Thanks so much for the quick reply! That's what I was starting to think, they did pop right off with *very* little prying with a screwdriver and the rear hubs didn't have anything like that on them. Thanks again!
