Guys, I am traveling and currently experiencing a severe CEL code 44 problem. I fixed it once before around Sept 2008 but it's a tough one this time. I've tried the usual (new plugs/wires, swapping coil pack and PTM) and it's still there. It usually does it when accelerating through 2000 rpm. One thing I'm wondering about is that I keep ending up with coil packs with primary resistance 1.2-1.4 ohms. The book says 0.7-0.8 ohms. It drove fine for ~10K miles with 1.2 ohms, but what's the opinion on this? Is 1.2 ohms primary coils resistance OK or no ?
Since a lot of new members join every so often its kinda hard to track down who has properly introduce themselves. If you haven't please introduce yourself
