Ok i just got 1stgen tsi and the car runs perfect but the car dose not boost???i have looked for every thing there is and i cant find out why its not boosting?the car is really slow.u can hear it wanting to but it dosent at all the guy that i got it from said he got to go to 6psi..and it has the 16g turbo..u here the wastegate try to open but dosent and so the car gos no where lol....i checked the injerters and they where leaking on number 1 and 4.so if some one can hlep me find the reason whats going on it will be cool call me or text me so i can tell u on the phone... 1 951 259 3574 name cody |

did you buy this car from 4grider? sounds like my car when i bought it, it woudln't boost past 5psi. ended up being a big ass boost leak right at the turbo outlet where the j pipe bolts onto, do a boost leak test. |

Did you fix the leaks at the injector seals yet? If not then go do that and report back. Also how can you hear your wastegate? Unless its dumped i think you mean bov. Could also be a messed up wg actuator, so do a blt and check what i said. |

No i dident get it from 4grider lol...and no i dident fix the injecters and no the bov dose not make no sound at all??u can here the wastegate..and it wont go past 6 psi...ERIX how did u fix ur problem and make it boost???help me plz car is my way of geting to work and shit so need it working right u know any thing let me know plz thanks=))) |

Take 20 minutes and put in new injector seals and then do a boost leak test until you do those two things no one on here can help you any further. You probably have a huge boost leak. |

Dude just do a boost leak test that will solve many boosting problems. If you can't afford a real boost leak tester then here is the link on how to make your own. http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-how-to ... -02-a.html here is video on how to do it to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atretf9u-Mc Do that boost leak test it may knock out more problems then you think. |
