or when they did the smog they do a new test called an EVAP test on cars that are 1995 or older. they test the fuel pressure or some thing like dat. idk thing is the test might mess up your car it might be that? i dunno. they tried doin it on my old eclipse but he never figured it out so he juss let it go. but yeah it could be a possibility?

The evap test just screws on to your gas cap and tests pressure, its very unlikely that it would have any effect on your starter or electrical system
