I was cruising 'Tuners and looking at an old thread I posted in regarding rear toe elimination for 1g's. (If you don't know what that is, look up "active toe" in any DSM forum).

Anyway, the old school way to fix it was to gut the rubber portion of the joints on the trailing arms and weld big washers in place, but for a period of time you could buy a kit w/ heim joints from DSS. Well, DSS went out of business and people have been begging for a kit ever since. People on 'Tuners posted the specs to fab your own, and a shop finally started making them.





In case you're wondering why I'm going nuts over this...the rear toe elimination is one of the best upgrades you can do to improve the handling characteristics of a 1g. It is often overlooked. I recommend forking the cash out for the eliminator kit WHILE THEY'RE AVAILABLE.

Oh, and BY THE WAY, Jay's Racing is offering them for a steal!!! $150 is half the price that DSS sold the kit for. Jay listened to the masses and came up w/ a fair price that still nets him profit, but doesn't rip off the DSM community. Even if you can't afford to get this installed right now, I'd pick up a kit for $150 just to hold on to.
