Hey,

So I was having some idle problems with my Laser, and I decided to get a referb TB to hopefully fix the problem. It was idling low/high randomally, and the rpm would fall when the clutch is in and stall.

So now I have the new TB installed, and I found some sensors from the junkyard (TPS & ISC). I don't hear any air leaks, and everything seems to look good. I set the TPS, and the BISS, and it seems to not help.

Now the car is at super low idle when I start it cold (like 600) and shakes and seems to not like that low idle. If I give it any gas, it will not idle, it will stall. BUT! once the car is warm, it idles much better, and almost never stalls.

One other thing I have ajusted is the throttle cable on top of the intak mani, in hopes to ajust the idle/slack.

So I'm not sure what to do/test now...

I'll check back after work, hopefully you guys have some ideas. If anyone is avaiable this week, I would love to roll over and let you take a look at it.

The thing that bugs me is the JDM engine is like very new and runs awsome, its just this idle issue I'm having ruining all the fun.

I had Illeagle look at my car, but we never stared it up.

He said the knock sensor was getting old, cause there was some sludge around it. I'm not sure what the knock sensor does, or helps.

I don't know what kinda ecu is in my car, the previous owner said it was "new". But, I got a JDM engine, i'm not sure what type of ecu is in it.

Boost leak.

I checked the TB, hoses, and I dont hear any noise. But who knows. What are some other places i should check? intake mani? exhaust mani? turbo? o2housing? I'm not sure about thoes spots. But i hear nothing.

I wanna use one of thoes boost leak things where u put air into it and check, never done it yet.
