 need help Hey guys well my dsm is acting up. It lags up in the high rpm i think its pulling timing. but dont know cause i dont have a logger. Does anyone have a logger around my area that i can hook up to my car to see wats going on. im in the valley. thanks guys.

Is it just feeling sluggish or is it breaking up and stuttering? If it is stuttering then I'll put money on it being your spark plugs.

Its feeling sluggish it feels like if it losses all power and it takes it forever for the rpms to go up once its in the area above 5000 rpm. I recently changed my spark plugs. So i doubt its that. Any other ideas.

When was the last time you did a boost leak test on the car. Maybe you are making that poor turbo work to damn hard to overcome a leak.

I havent been able to do a boost leak test because i dont have an air compressor or a bicylce pump.. but i have all the parts to make one.. but the reason i dont think its a boost leak is because it only does it randomly when ever it wants to.. a boost leak would be all the time wouldnt it. But as soon as i find some one with an air compressor or a boost leak tester i will do it just in case that is the problem.. so it cant be that its pulling my timing..

It could be that it is pulling timing. You might have an overactive knock sensor. Or maybe a serious engine problem. It's really hard to say without seeing and hearing the car.
