Well, I picked up this 3G MAF on the DSMLink user board for 40 bucks, and it just came in the mail. 
Same sensor as the Evo 8 Maf, just a different air horn, and I will get to keep my 1G intake pipe. It's supposed to flow up to 62lb's per minute, but I won't get that high on the 50 trim. |

You can but I would prefer to leave it stock as is cause when hacking it you only give yourself a little more headroom until you have to use the Fake Maf feature anyways. Why not just do it first hand before you touch the mas so you can just go straight to the point. |
