Brake pedal loosin pressure
Hey was up guys, so few days ago I picked up a 94 Gst, and Monday took it to work runs alright. But on my way home I did a ill take off cuz I miss take of in a fwd so I said let's see what u can do. Not bad at all but then turning into my street. My brake pedal lost pressure n went pretty far down,so I released pressed again and pressure was back, and it still does the same after a good drive. The car is ABS equipped... Do you guys know what can be the problem. Don't see a leak in brake lines, but the first time it happened I noticed brake fluid all around the wheel n wheel well.
Any input would help a lot, don't wana loose complete braking power.

Re: Brake pedal loosin pressure
You just answered your own question. Pistons on the caliper might be worn. Or your rotors and brake pads needs to be changed. Dustin had the same thing happen to him.

Re: Brake pedal loosin pressure
did it ever occur to you that maybe it squirted out all of the fluid, and there's no fluid left to squirt out?

That's why am posting cuz most of the basic things that can b check have been.

Re: Brake pedal loosin pressure
So your rotors aren't warped? caliper piston might be done for. Check brake booster line.
