90 Gst 5spd Parked the car left it for an hour go to start it up. it starts but sounds like its missing and only runs for 5 - 7 seconds When it dies its as if the key was shut off. checked all sensor connections everything is good. Disconnected batt let it sit for a few minutes it started right up ran great drove it home. Let it sit for about 10 min. And same fuckin issue. Looking for ideas Thanks guys |

Might be ecu startin to go bad. Check that out if u can borrow o test it with another 90 ecu and check if this might be the issue. |

Test the coolant temp sensor. Those things can cause all kinds of shit storms during start up if they are dying. |

That isn't an odd issue, it's actually extremely common and well documented. It's the DSM hot start issue. (in fact it's common on many cars, such as my Jeep Cherokee) Here are some possible fixes: http://www.dsm.org/how-tos/JFM/HotStart.html |

Yeah that coolant temp sensor has happened to me before with similar symptoms. It was obvious. Just the cas, wiring was all fucked up right where it comes out of the bottom thanks guys |
