jumped timing
So my exhaust cam we can say is ahead of the game , okay so I'm probably going to try to pull the head off how bad you guys think this can get? What piston damage can I expect or damage in general?

as for piston damage I'll say nothing happened to the bottom end.

Re: jumped timing
Ya but I'm guessing with my 272s might have reached a lil farther and made some piston slap

Re: jumped timing
unless the valve face broke off and fell it, there is usually no real damage to the pistons. Just a little knick that can get cleaned up with emery cloth.

Re: jumped timing
If you're getting new valves, might as well get new seals and guides to avoid any problems down the road. That way, you won't have to take the head off again. That's what I'd do anyways.
