hey wassup guys, ive been trying to "pass" smog with my 90 talon but the guy says that the computer isn't reading the EGR ive tried cleaning it but still nothing, im thinking maybe the vacuume lines are hooked up wrong maybe thats why it isnt reading it, do any of u guys happen to know where the vacuum lines are suppose to go?? |

Yeah. There's a vacuum line diagram on the underside of your hood. It tells you exactly where everything is supposed to be hooked up. |

I checked that but still nothin' I'm hoping someone would have like a picture on where the lines r hooked up cuz on that diagram there's only 2 lines connected to the egr but egr has 3 nipples on it |

my guess would be that its a bad EGR solenoid and not the actual EGR |

There is also the thermal vacuum valve switch to check. It's under the thermostat with two vacuum nipples. |
