well thats lame
so how the hell do i take out the stock head studs do i have to use a 10mm hex or what cant find any info online for removal and my manual just so happens to be missing those pages

Yeah, the oem style head bolts use an allen head.

yea im gonna just cut a 10mm allen wrench and slide it into a deep 10mm socket. do i remove the bolts in the opposet torque pattern as to tightening?

my old engine had arps the one i put in about a year ago didnt. verdict from my downed car got worse today haha started taking it apart to replace the water pump only to realize i ate my balance belt too luckly it didnt take my timing belt with it so now installing new timing belt/balance belt arps cometic gasket new water pump evo 9 fuel pump rc 750 and dsmlink v3 lite and finaly removing my broken exhaust studs and turbo bolts for new oem studs with copper nuts and arp stainless turbo bolts she should be running strong soon

So took my head off today and low and behold.............n/t pistons in my block.....oh joy Good news is eveything looks pretty good so I'm just gonna run it as it sits untill I can afford a rebuild the pistons are stamped with just 63d

Damn.. The auto car I bought had the same thing, I bet the compression was probably 185ish instead of the 155 it should have been with the T on the end. Oh well, it's still a good block and you can always build it with better internals later. It should feel peppy off boost with the higher compression n/t pistons.

Yea she runs great off boost I think its a turbo block too though so I'm not too worried I'm only looking for 350 hp anyways so I'm shure it will handle it untill I can afford pistons and rods
