lean on full boost
Sam logged my 1st gen and found out my car goes lean when im under full boost. The car is almost all stock besides down pipe and exhaust. He suggested it might be the FPR. Im going to try changing fuel filter, fuel pump, and FPR if i can find one. Any one have any other suggestion on what it might be. Will try changing this fuel stuff soon and will update if it solves my car's problem

Re: lean on full boost
I still think its fuel pressure related. Be it the regulator or pump itself

Re: lean on full boost
Glad you put a logger on there to check it out. Most likely its going to be fuel pressure related because the car on cold days would take a while to start up because the fuel line would be completely depressurized. I would be sitting there trying to crank it over : IMO: most likely the FPR or FP.

Re: lean on full boost
IM still looking for a fuel pressure regulator. To my knowledge the FPR that comes from a auto and stick car are different, I can only find the auto fpr's. Can i just get a aftermarket one and set it at stock pressure?

Re: lean on full boost
Yes, an aftermarket one set at stock pressure will work fine. And if you get a 255 it will not be over run like a stock one would.

Re: lean on full boost
installed a evo 9 fuel pump and a fuel filter. No more lean! Will do more maintenance then will mod her lightly.
Thanks Sam and Clint for helping me log my car and pointing me in the right direction

Re: lean on full boost
Awesome man, I bet it pulls pretty good now. Keep the mods light and right, and that engine and turbo will last longer.
