Eprom or not?
Is it possible to know if Its an eprom ecu just by the numbers on the ecu cover?

This link will help you to find out. According to it, yours is likely to be an EPROM but opening it up is the only way to be sure.

Yeah, open it up and you'll see the EPROM chip right there, you can't miss it. Post a picture if you want.

I will open up the ecu and check. Also, if it is an eprom I understand it needs to be socked to run link or SD. I'm still undecided on which I want to run but will the same socket work on both? More than likely I'll be running SD because of the cost.

speed density? You mean Jackle? Either link or jackle can do speed density. Jackle only works on 1G's. Either s a Viable option
