Re: Time for a new turbo
Let me start off by saying how great it is buying E-85. Twenty gallons came out to $60 vs. $80+ I'd drop on 5 gal of Q16! Finally fired her up for the first time since my last race. Ran into a couple minor issues before though. First, its been a while since I turned the motor over, so she wouldn't build psi when priming her. I had to drop the t-belt and prime directly from the pump. Second, a spark plug decided to fuck me & the horse I rode in. Luckily I was able to knock the long end of a seal puller into the broken end & turn the threads out.

Re: Time for a new turbo
I left a little after 1:00AM and the car was just starting to run solid enough to really get to tuning it. It had some fueling issues that had to be tracked down and fixed. I can't wait to see what it did, on a rough early pull it made 400AWHP on wastegate pressure.

Re: Time for a new turbo
It started making more power as the night wennt on it just wasn't cooperating enough to see its full potential. It had some fuel issues, misfiring on the top end, and starting leaking some coolant. Hugo called it a night. I'll let Sam and Hugo chime in more on it...
