 Sort of New..New to DSM From Lawndale, attend CSULb. Got a 97 GST Apex Coilovers, Tanabe Exaust (cat back), strut bars, NGK spark plugs wires and that's about it (i dnt even know if u can call those upgrades lol)...nothing major done to the motor actually nothing at all...have a friend who introduced me to the cite Culiced.
Im new to DSM, so basically i know little to none about the motor, lets face it im a NOOB, tho i have been reading (borrowed the guide from Culiced) and researching (on forums), so i've gotten a bit better ( i think ) but help from you experienced members would be great.
Actually got a problem ryt now?
I just got my car out of the shop (where i bought the car from ).
i brought it in cause it had a leak in the oil pan gasket ( which i come to find is easy but just messy - they did free labor so i didnt mind ) but the idle was off and the timing belt went off a tooth..got all that fixed except for the ( IDLE which is actually one of my worries ryt now. before i took it to the shop (when the leaks happened) the idle was too low at 550 or even 250 and at times would stall. Now the leaks are sealed but the damn idle is too high - 1500, drops to at most 1200 and when AC is on 1k exactly. Basically the idle is up and down most of the time.
Any Suggestions?
