Since the homie dont like going online im gonna post this for him plus I'm doing all the work on his car anyway. Well so far we came along way with this car and been thru a lot first set up we had the built 6 bolt wiesco 8:3:1 with the HD wrist pins eagle rods ACL Race Bearings Mains and Rods 2G Head full port Job @ west coast CH (Reseda) Ferrera Dual valve springs and 1mm Valves With Kelford 272's, Shep Stage 4 Trans and ACT New Twin Disc Race Clutch, Holset HX 35 Twin Scroll with Punishment racing Manifold and Dual Tial wastegates open dumps. 1600 RC injectors and a DeacthWorks fuel pump With a -8 feed -6 return.
First we went with a no intercooler method and using methanol to cool down the intake temps. first dyno @ 45 psi 540 awhp BOV blew a diaphram. And intake temps were High but made it out alive. Next plan was to add more nozzels for the methanol to bring the intake air down. Ordered the Nozzels but not the BOV and I highly recommended for him to get one before his trip Back to the Dyno, But he was going off of whatever the tuner told him which was he'll be OK. Well nothing I can do so back on the dyno he went Boom! HX35 surged up and broke the shaft. Performance techniqes here we come rebuilt the the turbo with a 40/35 and bought a Tial BOV. Back to the dyno it went.
Boom again this time 2 Valves and a Piston.
Back in the garage Im removing the head so he can take it back WCCH and fix it up. with the block still in the engine bay we remove the damage piston Cyl. 4. Re-hone then install new piston and rings. Get the head back 2 new valves and some welding. So we finally give up on the methanol method and remove it and add an intercooler.
Back to the Dyno @35 psi 530 AWHP and there we stayed. now its off to the track. Never had a real good run (11.6@129mph). But getting adjusted to the power and the drive. Next the Driver side axel breaks. Back in the Garage again. Up grade HD Rear axels.
So now were in Irwindale and its the first time we turn the anti-lag on. And he loves it runs a 7.6 test pass then 7.5 2nd pass before the third he wants to try to make more boost and raise the launch limiter and told him not too and just keep tring at these settings but he insisted that we change it so I raised the launch limit from 5500 t0 5750. CCCRRRAAACCCKKK !!!! went the diff. cover which brings us up to this point. I had just ran right before him so I didnt get to see it happen But Frank(AWD Monster) was right behind him getting ready to run and said that the launch look sick and look like it was gonna be a good run but it didnt turn out like that.
And thats me drilling the holes in the subframe getting ready to put the diff back on...TO BE CONTINUED
