 I'm back so introducing my self to the new members. I just got back early this morning from three months and Navy OCS in RI. It is now time for me to get to work on repairing the damage we did to my car on the dyno right before I left. I can't wait to get my beast back on the road and on the track.
To those that don't know me yet, I have been around this site for a long time and I like talking crap, drinking drinks, and making over 400 AWHP.

Re: I'm back so introducing my self to the new members. OCS is a huge mental strain. For me it was pretty tough physically too as I didn't show up in as good a shape as I should have. But they seriously put you under so much stress that almost my entire class was having nightmares and a few people straight up just quit.
Once I got into the routine it wasn't to bad for me. I was really shocked after week 9 when my class took over running the regiment at how hard OCS can be on people. My job was to be the medical liaison so I pretty much dealt with everyone from the classes below me that were having problems either physically or mentally every day. It isn't a big shock that people are fighting of strained muscles and sprained joints all the time but I had to deal with a few people that were just straight cracking under the pressure and couldn't continue training.
