Hey LADSM,

Just bought one yesterday for a total steal. I usually buy, fix and flip cars as a hobbie but this one will be a keeper.

Ill post photos when I remember to at home.

Specs,

1997 Eclipse GST Spyder
167k
Auto (sad, I know)
White/Tan Leather
Clean
Never Molested.
2 Previous owners.

I literally paid half the kbb (Private party "Good") for it. Just at the right place at the right time...

Great condition with maint records showing Timing, water pump, tensioner and balence shaft belts all replaced at 128k
and all rubber/belts replaced at 160k
Also 120k worth of Mobil 1 synth receipts every 3k. Yes, even I think thats overkill for synth.
All in all, I consider this a hell of a find.

Goals:

Strictly bolt on, I wanna replace the T-2slo turbo, along with the plastic BoV and piping, and if I can find one cheap, a real intercooler.

Im not a racer, but I enjoy have the power on tap if needed.

Welcome and congrats on your purchase. You can hang off on a larger front mount for a while until you throw a larger turbo in there that actually requires the use of a fmic.

Your right about the front mount thats going to be an eventual upgrade...
Ive been looking over the forum and came across the Road & Race Engineering 2g upgrade path (http://www.roadraceengineering.com/2gupgradepath.htm) Im sure you all have seen this, it came from this forum.

So thats the plan as of right now. First step K&N and cut the excess BoV recirc tubing from the intake.

I did just come across an Evo 9 Greddy BoV with the recirc and adapter already installed for $85 obo, Im gonna try to snag that for $60.
