Finally got a GSX =D
Well decided to finally register and stop lurking around the forums I just bought a 99 GSX and also have a GS-T Spyder. Unfortunately there both currently down =( You know your addicted to DSM's when you have one that isn't running, and you go and buy another that isn't lol but it's all good,im more than happy and love these cars to death. Will defiantly be posting here, and heading out to the meets as soon as I get these up and running. Heres a quick pic of my gsx (there not resized so I put links) http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/MODERNTECHS/99gsx.jpghttp://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/MODERNTECHS/99gsxrear.jpgThnx alot

Welcome to the site. Why is the GSX down?

Re: Finally got a GSX =D
That is a mystery I hope to crack maybe this weekend or next. Tranny issues and will be basically Checking TCU for codes Replacing/Changing Filter and Fluids Re-adjusting Shift Link cable Replacing Torque Converter IPT auto Overhaul kit or complete rebuild? Im hopin I don’t have to do the last one The spyders’s down since I blew the stock t25 which I finally got my bolts and gaskets, and feed line today after waiting 3 weeks >=( (ordered Dec 21 and missed the Christmas discount from JNZ tuning !!) It sucks since I don’t have a single penny to buy oil and get my spyder up and running this week =( and I have to smog and get tags February, register and pay fees for the gsx lol well see how I’ll pull through.

Re: Finally got a GSX =D
Awesome thanks for the warm welcome I'm located in riverside, but I will be making a thread about trying to solve the tranny issue on the gsx and asking for tips or advice so I can get it back on the road. This weekend I put together the spyder with a new rebuilt t25 (its my dd ) and am just missing the oil,so I will definatley be making it to my first meet next monday
