Post Radiator fan wiring
Does anyone know a reliable way to make the radiator fan (and possibly the ac fan) run all the time without dsmlink or an external relay? Seems easy enough to just add a relay and wire both fans to this but i was wondering if anyone knows anyway to use the stock wiring to do this. I think there's a way to do it with ecuflash but i just haven't looked into it since my laptop is dead and i can't find the charger. Thanks in advance.

Wait, wat did you do? I want to do this to my car as well. Did you end up getting a relay and connecting both fans to it? Or just connecting them straight to the battery?

Jumped both relays (bottom flat spade) and then added a toggle switch to override the ecu control of the fans if i wanted to. Well i haven't done the switch just yet but ill do it when the sun goes down.

I recently bought a punishment racing raditor and 2 slim fans with a shroud and was also wondering how to do this. same way as you, without link and using the stock wire harness. But i don't want to use a toggle switch. I haven't intalled it yet but I figured i'll deal with it when I get there.

and +1 on waiting till the sun goes down. i just pulled out my turbo a few hours ago and it's f-ing HOT!!!

Just connect both positive wires from your stock vehicle harness to the positive on the fans and same with the negative. You can then jump both relays and have the ac fan come on when the radiator fan comes on (unfortunately that's somewhere around 200*F) The toggle switch is just a way to override this and have full control of the fans. But i'm sure there's another way to do it with just the stock wiring but i haven't looked that much into it yet.

Found an even BETTER way to deal with this. Just have to change some values in the ecu and i should be golden. :D

I was mainly putting up the link for people with stock ECU's I think you should be able to do it with some code editing to the EVO ecu in your car no problem.
