Lately my engine misfiring/hesitating between 4k rpm and 5500rpm at WOT. This only happens at higher boost levels (18+psi). It doesn't seem to happen when I boost 15psi. Here's the weird part...the issue goes away after 10-15 minutes of driving. It only takes 2-3 min for the coolant to get up to OT, so I don't think its a warm up issue. I pulled the plugs and they look...okay. Not perfect, but okay. There's no excessive wear, but they're a little bit lighter of a color than a good plug looks like. Not *white*, but a ligher tan than a good looking plug. The wires have been in the car since I bought it a few years ago, but the resistance on them tested fine when I threw in the new engine last year. Any thoughts before I start throwing new parts at it? I'll check the resistance on the wires again when I get a chance and update. |

I've had perfect reading on wires but they'd arc out under load. +1 on whats your gap? |

Good ol' .028". I might just have to throw in some new wires. |
