Re: Euro Export valve tool
pretty cool, up until the long bolt gets cross threaded. You still need a compressor to keep the cylinder pressurized so the valve doesn't fall into the cylinder after you pull the keepers out.

Re: Euro Export valve tool
OK, so why is the thing called a compressor if I still need a compressor to pressurize the cylinders? By the way is another similar tool it's made by an outfit in LA, sans fancy video.

Re: Euro Export valve tool
This tool compresses the spring down and you need an adapter for an air compressor in the spark plug hole to pressurize the combustion chamber so the valve doesn't fall into the cylinder.

Re: Euro Export valve tool
OK thanks for the input and info. This is something I have to do sooner or later. Right now I have some 20W50S and oil additive in there, so it keeps the problem down. I know chances are though I'll see that blue/white smoke if I sit in idle for longer than 5 mins. Seems to happen a lot for some reason when coming out of a McDonalds. Anyways I don't know of any shops that would do anything like this for $65.
