Here is the stealthy exhaust that I just installed on my DSM. I bought an ebay muffler that was 3inch in and 3inch out. I just found the cheapest one. This one was roughly $60 shipped!! Pretty good. Its full polished stainless steel. Though, the polished part didnt concern me. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() These pictures were right off of the vendors site. The tips are closer to 2.75 inch outlet each, but being that there is 2 of them, it shouldnt make much of a difference. I then procceeded to paint the muffler black. I had some black primer, and some black high temp engine enamel paint around the house that I used. But most of the cans of high temp can be had for under $5 each. I painted it black to make it more stealth looking. ![]() I taped up the tips of the muffler, so that those would remian polished and look pretty clean/stockish. ![]() ![]() ![]() Here it is with the rattle can job and taped removed. Stock looking polished tips! ![]() ![]() ![]() Here it is installed. The shop could have done a better job, but it will work. I replaced my APEXi N1 muffler with this one. The exhaust shop made me a whole new axle back system. So If I really wanted I could go back to the N1 look. |

Heres the video. Idle, rev, and 5500 RPM studder box action. I like it, its pretty quiet. Im sure it will get louder over time. |

Doesn't look bad, i actually started looking for a stealth muffler not too long ago. Im probably going to go the same route but paint all the piping black while im at it. |

I thought about painting the whole muffler black, but I kind of like the look of the polished tips. The rest of teh piping will get painted tomorrow, probably. |

Thanks guys! So far I still like it. It sounds agressive under WOT and pretty quiet at idle. |
