Re: Loss of Power, any thoughts?
Fixed allk the boost leaks, but now I'm getting misfires above 5000 at WOT. So I'm gonna regap the plugs from .030 to .028 to see if that eliminates the misfire.
Still doesn't feel as strong for some reason.

Re: Loss of Power, any thoughts?
So I found out my timing had skipped a tooth, on the exhaust side.
What the hell causes timing to skip a tooth. I fixed it by basically removing and reinstalling the same belt, and it felt a million times better, but I'm still having misfire problems.
Is it possible for an exhaust leak to cause misfires?

Re: Loss of Power, any thoughts?
Yeah you probably did, sometimes I don't pay attention to you though, maybe its your avatar.
Anyway, what causes timing to skip a tooth?
Oh and supposedly the head gasket was replaced on this engine by Sam at rre, which is what the previous owner told me, wouldn't that mean that the timing belt would also be installed by the same person?

Re: Loss of Power, any thoughts?
To asnwer your question illeagle, yes and no, you said tpo checkj cam timing with a logger to check for a bad knock sensor, but you never said tpo check base timing, or the alignment of timing components, but nice try though.
