A regrind is a regrind no matter what. Don't care if its made on Pluto at subzero temps by elves of Kalamadoor in bakinis. IT IS A REGRIND Bottom line no matter if you look at it with 1,2, or 3 eyes, upside down, right side up, left side in reverse, fucken diagonal at a 45* angle drifting a fwd three wheeled ticket mobile.

Basic, you get power from a cam due to higher lift and duration. How do you get higher lift? A taller lobe.

How do you take a stock 4G63 Cam with a 1.180" base circle, and a 0.366" tall (From the base circle) intake lobe and 0.343" tall exhaust lobe and turn it into a 0.399" tall intake lobe and 0.379" tall exhaust lobe? How do make a 1 story building into a 2 story building? YOU CAN'T WITOUT BUILDING A 2ND STORY. Period.

Back to a cam, how do you make a stock 0.366" lobe taller? Give it fruits and vegetables and plenty of sleep? Put it in the ground with plant food and water it every day and make sure it gets plenty of sunlight? NO, only way to add material to metal is to fuse it on, meting it on, weld it on. Unless they have a special Miracle Grow solution and some bomb ass soil, you can't. I've heard that the DKS grinds are stock cams grounded down to HKS profiles and they use rocker spacers since the 4g63 cam doesn't directly open and close the valve, its moves the rocker and the rocker pushes down on the valve, so that's a possibility. I'd call them and ask and ask for specifics, if the guy stutters and goes uhhh... uhhh... ask him if he has a speech impediment because you didn't stutter when you asked the question. Remember, they want your money and if the guy can't talk to you strait and be confident in his product, and know every aspect of it, I'd be weary of buying it. If he doesn't know, that's cool so long as he offers someone else who does, and if they start talking about hp gains, shut em down and ask for specs and how they made a 1story building into a 2story.

Yep the'ts exactly what i though, as i said they didn't answer all if any of my questions. Personally i decided to stay away from regrinds and look into other more affordable cams such as BC(as far as i know these aren't regrinds but i may be wrong?), or comp cams.
