 Cooling ideas Well, now that I have my new FMIC on  (i'll show it off at the meet tomorrow) I'm looking into options to improve cooling since my radiator sees NO air now. Overheats like a summabitch if its hot out. While looking for ideas on DSMtuners, I came across made by Dakota Digital that lets you control your fans rather than letting the ECU do it. (scroll up in that thread to see pics of the install). Looks like a great little tool for $100.
Besides that, I'm looking into all sorts of little tricks that involve ducting and vents and the such. I personally want to keep my real bumper (the metal crash beam), so punching holes in the bumper cover won't suffice. I'm going to fab a plate to bridge the gap from my radiator to my bumper up where the hood latch is. I'm also going to fab some ducting underneath to direct air from under the I/C up into the radiator. The link I posted above has several ideas by other people. I'm also going to add a 2nd SPAL fan and possibly a push fan on the front side if the A/C condensor. I also have one of those RRE/Carbontrix vents (like Wes') sitting around. Never thought I'd really need it, but now it's going to be a necessity to keep temps down.

Any other ideas you FMIC guys have come up with that don't involve throwing your original crash beam in the trash?

i know what you mean clint. Wess has a vent in his hood and when I touched his hood with mine HUGE difference. I have my fans always on, i wired them independant from the wiring harness.
