I wanna know how metal flakes will get passed an oil filter and still be visible to your eyes? Aren't their filter standards measured in microns?

Yes, all oil that goes through your engine/turbo goes through the oil filter first. Not to mention the filter sock at the oil pickup in the oil pan to get rid of big things first.
