| Post subject: | Info: Radiator Fan Wiring |
I have my fans wired like this http://vfaq.com/mods/wayback/2gcoolingfan.html Today, I noticed the fans werent working and I thought it was the switch so I replaced the switch, & they would turn on sometimes but not always, then they would not turn on at all, so I checked the fuse, it was bad replaced it and they were working again. Later they stoped again and the fuse was blown, tired to put in another and it blew right when I pluged it in? any ideas whats causing it? |

I would guess shorted wiring. Check your modifications first and then move on to the stock wiring. |

I checked and everything looks right, its been working fine for over a year, I just checked all the realys & they are all good, then I disconnected the switch and put in a new fuse & touched the 2 wires together and the fans turn on & the fuse dosent blow? so it seems like the switch is the problem but its just a toggle switch with 2 terminals? |
