I installed a short shifter, metal base bushings, and the bearings at the same time, it all made a big difference but since I did it all at once I dont know how much difference the bearings alone would make? |

I just put 1 bearing in each one, I pushed them in with a vise |

so I pretty much just take my intake piping off take out the rubber bushing and vice the skate bearings in |

yup. or if you dont have a vice, 2 washers, 1 bolt the will fit through the bearing, nut. 0=()()()()0= dunno if you understand this, but your kinda making a press. Nut - washer - bearing - shifter - washer - bolt. As you tighten the bolt/nut it presses it all together. |

took me about 2 hours to get mines in... only had a hammer and 20mm socket workin outside the parkin lot after sunset with only the light of my cell phone...haha |

See its not so bad. If He ^ can do it with, oh god, cell phone, socket and hammer, you with the right tools or a bit of enginuity can do it. Again 15min with a c-clamp. I just came up with the bolt/washer/nut idea but in theory it sounds like it would work. Total cost of making the tool would be under $3 |
