Ok so tomorrow I'm most likely picking up a 1g Gsx. It has a motor and tranny but the motor has a spun rod bearing. I'm thinking about taking out the motor to rebuild it with forged internals and I plan on making it a stroker. Now, for the question. I have a 2g Gsx 7 bolt with 90k original miles. I want to get the feel of driving a 1g for the mean time. What do I need to swap my 7bolt into the 1g? Or can just swap it like that? |

Just saw you post this on sgvdsm lol. It wouldn't be a straight swap, as some sensors are different. Personally I would sell that 7bolt and pick up a 6bolt to build up. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2 |

you cant put the 2g block in a 1g. The 1g block doesn't have any place for the front & rear motor mounts. On a 1g the front & rear motor mounts are on the block on 2g they are on the trans. |

Orrr you can not buy the 1g, sell your 2g and buy a bicycle! No motor swap necessary! |
