I'm getting new front wheel bearings pressed in and while I'm at it I'm going to replace the wheel studs since this is an opportune time. While I'm at it would it be a good idea to put longer studs in and get open ended lug nuts for future track use, or would I be better off sticking with OEM size? Anyone know where to get the KYO studs? Does RRE still carry them? |

id say go longer studs, and open ended extended lug nuts, more clamping force to keep your wheels on because you get more thread engagement |

From first hand experience, I recommend them. Almost ten years with mine & they're holding up fine. Only other choice I've seen are the ARP's. Way nicer with the tapered non-threaded tips, longer then KYO, stronger, but your wallet will be lighter. |

I have no idea if these guys sell linger studs but I have gotten replacement stock length ones from them in the past. They had tons of parts in stock so it might be worth a call. Certified Undercar Parts 636 North Barranca Avenue, Covina, CA 91723-1228 (626) 974-5600 |

Thanks for the info guys. I talked to Honda rob and he said the kyo studs have a nasty habit of snapping when people improperly torque lugs with an pact wrench. Not planning on using an impact, but don't want to risk it. On top of that he recommended going with bolt on spacers if I ever need to get super wide tread. With that and my wallet in mind, I'm skipping the ARP's and going with oem sized napa studs for now |
