Every REF station is rigged one way or another.
When I got reffed the guy checked up the ass to make sure everything was legit.
My old CAT was failing which was causing me to fail the SMOG, my buddy let me borrow his and it turned out that his "CAT" came off a Ford V8 E-150 van.
I asked him if a FMIC was "ok" and he said yes, but the bov was what caused the issues since it wasn't CARB legal.

Yes. I learned that I've been taking my laid back Colorado SMOG laws for granted, now I feel you CA DSMers pain. I haven't been able to drive my car for almost 2 months because of this shit, that and I turned my car back to stock besides a non recirced Tial bov and I still can't pass.

Now I can't even drive my car because the clutch, I jacked my ankle up playing soccer last week and I'm on crutches. Good thing the girl and I live where she works, she lets me drive her car, and its an A/T so I don't need to use my left foot.



I'm going to figure this out, just takes time I suppose.
