How did you get reff when you're parked

You grabbed the cops attention I would pay the 1200 and make your car into a sleeper
Don't drive like a mad man the cop must of been on a bad day did you piss him off

Atleast in ventura county , youre looking at $900-$1500 to "just " pay it off.. Only thing i could think of reason to pop you was because he saw a "group" of guys on the side of the road on mostlikely imports " they consider these that" and went to check you guys out. The no license plate up front is just about a good excuse to pop you, hell even a blown tailight or blinker. Just really depends on the cop, usually the CHP ENFORCE THE LAW harder.

When they impound it , it also usually depends on the type of infranction, because if the infraction requires a 30days then thats required by the law not the tow yard because in order to get it out the yard you need to pay the police dept for the release and once you do that then you can get it out the yard. If it doesnt require it then you can get it out the next day if its on the weekday.

We got my friends out the next day from a DUI. The only 30 day hold I have personally seen was driving without a license.

^^^ yea preety much that but im gueesing it depends, when my friend got a dui he had to wait the 30days .i guees it just depends.
As far as i know , if you dont let them pop your hood they'll tow it and hold it while they get a warrant to search it and once theyre done you can take it out and pay your and fees.

They need a reason to have you pop your hood and a warrant is even more difficult for them to obtain. A cop can and will say anything to get you to comply with their demands on your own because your consent is the easiest thing to obtain. Will a cop waste several hours babysitting you and your car while a warrant is called in because your exhaust tip is shiny or you have a flashing gauge? Probably not unless you lipped off and were a douche to him. Too many times, people give up their rights out of fear or ignorance. Unless you're given a direct order, you need to consent.

yea if i cant pay for it...imma fight it and tell the judge we were parked on the side of the road and he came up behind only me and asked me for my info..i had my license tags insurance and smog papers and we werent driving fast or krazy at all before he had pulled up to us and plus i was parked...i think its harrasment...cuz he really had no need to pop it..and i could bring witness's....and i would go in my security uniform and make it seem im responsible cuz i am...

after this whole ordeal i dont think imma drive the car that much anymore...and i barley drive it now...maybe 1 or 2 days out of the week...
