I'd be a little worried about the ring lands as well to be honest. Looks like there was some serious stress right there man. |

True.. That part of your head could have been slightly damaged and been the culprit for your past hg failures. You're probably right though, thinking about it, that composite head gasket should blow out before the forged pistons would start to fail. |

I wouldn't bother getting a 2g head to match a 1g intake manifold Adam, the design is just too weird and you'll hit a wall before the opening hits the intake ports that makes that mod pretty ineffective. I gotta post up some pics of my head when i get it back from the machine shop today, but they do pretty badass work. |

I have a 2g manifold.. At one point I was planning on running a 2g head and intake manifold, but I'll probably never do it. Just give me what I paid for it about a year ago if you want it. Don't forget to have the stud holes reamed out if you're putting a 2g head on your 6 bolt or you'll starve your head of oil. |
