Re: NEW E85 stations in CA
to those of you who already run it, did you swap your fuel fikter a few times after doing the initial switch? did you upgrade your fuel lines? and do you run a tank of 91 once in a while? ive read the injectors get gunk on them after a while and that you should run a tank of 91 every 25 or so of e85

Re: NEW E85 stations in CA
nice, the 950's were enough for you? in that case I might get 1000's instead of 1200's.

nice, I forgot your car was on the corn, no wonder its so damn fast haha, I say everyone goes corn and we go to the next street legals.
looks like I need some 1000 injectors and a fuel lab fuel filter with the steel filter and id be good to go.
pte or fic injectors? alot of people seem to hate on the fic's

Re: NEW E85 stations in CA
At 44 lbs/min my RC 1200s are at 80% idc maintaining a 12.4:1 AFR. With the 68HTA I would say 1200s minimum and my car idles and drives part throttle a whole lot better on the RC's than it did on the FIC 1150s.

Re: NEW E85 stations in CA
Wow it's nice to see another company really step this up a notch or two. Not to hate on Pearson, but they were/are going way too slow on these. I think this new company is really aiming for their jugular too because they are stacking up the Sacramento market where a lot of Pearson stations are and I believe they put one down in SD by the original Pearson's place.
Maybe I'll convert the X if they open up a few more in the greater Los Angeles area. Right now it's still just ConservFuel.

Re: NEW E85 stations in CA
You are correct sir. The log was bouncing around between 43 and 44 lbs/min. 12.5:1 and 81.3% IDC. PM me or just post in the thread about my car acting like a dsm if you want more info.

Re: NEW E85 stations in CA
I just called the Harbor City Royce Chevron at 1250 Sepulveda and they said the e85 should be ready next week.
