So decided to make a thread of my dead motor, sadly it died cruising on the fwy on my way to work and not while on the track...

So here's some pics for your enjoyment. Ill be updating this thread till i finish the motor build.

trashed head next to trashed internals.

After she blew i opted to tow her home and tear her apart in my driveway (since i was already closer to home). New block and internals are waiting at the shop. Amazingly the crank looks great and looks to be salvageable. Going to be taking the crank in and sending everything to get machined hopefully this week.

I blame it on that spark plug cover.

Should be sending of some stuff to get machined/checked at the end of this week if i can disassemble the new virgin bottom end. Then just a matter of waiting and big turbo is right =P.
