someone with an evo asked me if my turbo that i have forsale will fit their evo. i told him no for the obvious reasons but im wondering if its possible to put an Evo hot side and mate it to my turbo... anyone? |

No, the turbine wheel would be in the wrong orientation inside the housing. They would need a new manifold/o2 housing for your turbo to work. |

the actual fins are backwards in the evo turbo. Its not just spun around, the actual fins spins backwards. So their turbine housing is designed around this, being backwards. If you put a regular turbo in there, the exhaust gas will hit the back face of the turbine blades. Stock evo turbo spins counter-clockwise if you are looking into the compressor side Everyone else spins clockwise. ![]()
