I Dynoed My Eclipse
Well i finally got my DSM Dynoed. The #'s are: 336 AWHP 285 AWTQ
My list of mods are: HX35 4" Intake JMF SMIM FP Turbo Manifold HKS 272 Cams 3” Turbo-back With Apexi Muffler Tial 38mm External Wastegate SS Auto Chrome Fmic HKS SSQV BOV Black Edition DSM Link V3 680 Injectors
I'm only running 18lbs of boost. According to DSM Link i'm at 89% Duty Cycle on the injectors. I'm on a very very conserative tune. On the dyno my wideband was at 10.1. I got full boost at 4k rpm's. At 6500rpm's i started to lose power because i'm running to rich. This is on 91 octane gas. When getting tuned my Timing was never touched.
I got the car dynoed at Yimi in Santa Clarita. I went there because i wanted to leave my wheels on when on the dyno. Yimi DID NOT Tune the car. Beau Did the tune for me.
I'm going to get bigger injectors and run Speed Density to push for more power.
When i get the chance i will post the dyno for you to see

In that case, which brand dyno does the shop use?

Re: I Dynoed My Eclipse
if you lean it out alittle then you will get some of that injector duty cycle back. and turn up the boost everyone is scared of the 91 oct.

Re: I Dynoed My Eclipse
here is my experience. my current setup is a stock 160,000 mile bottom end with arp head studs and 2g head hx35 @28psi on 91 oct, 950cc injectors, and 2g timing maps as they are less agressive than the 1g timing map. no knock 11.2-11.5 afr's but im runnung an ets fmic this is just my experience 12.5@115 with no second gear

Re: I Dynoed My Eclipse
The car is actually tuned for about 10.8-11.0 AFR across the board, but the injectors were sticking open at higher RPM, causing the AFR to plummet. Once you get the bigger injectors in we'll be able to up the boost and keep the AFR consistent across the RPM range.

Re: I Dynoed My Eclipse
Yup, I'm running SD through Jackal. I need to get out and street tune it some more or get on a dyno. I've already modified the map significantly from the 2.0 map, but I'll keep leaning it out up top to see if it comes down. The main issue I'm running into now is consistency though. Jackal has IAT compensation, but it's in the process of being improved upon. My AFRs will be of by .3 or so at different temperatures on different days. I've re-enabled closed loop for cruising so that I can maintain a consistent AFR for good gas mileage, but as soon as I stomp on it I'm at the mercy of the IAT compensation table.
Sorry to jack the thread, I might start my own thread as I get into this further.
