Re: Wes's Car finally acting like a DSM. What trips me out is how over-rated the Holset compressor maps are. Im pretty sure the compressor wheel itself can net a flow of 52lbs/min but granted the turbine design and 55AR housing, I think it chokes it. Maybe with a .64AR housing and a clipped turbine wheel, you would net some more peak hp, but you would suffer a little lag which defeats the purpose of the turbo being the holy grail 52lbs/min full boost by 3500RPM OH SHIT MAD TYTE JAYDEM YO! But, impressive turbo none the less for the price. Hard to beat. Here are the boost curves over-layed over the 50trim boost curve.  _________________1/4 ET-11.657@121.18mph w/ 1.682 60' 445whp/427tq on RRE Dyno All on 91 pump. Do you need your car tooned? Re: Wes's Car finally acting like a DSM. Also the thing that made me really happy was that we were on the dyno all night long and did who knows how many pulls and the car just took it. It didn't leak any coolant or oil and it even stayed pretty well in normal operating temperatures.
It was like old times.

Re: Wes's Car finally acting like a DSM. Did my first hard launch today with the 2.3 Holset and twin disk. Holy crap I remember why I love this car, dual stage set at 5500 and quickly pull the clutch out. Chirp the tires and take off like a bat out of hell. First gear goes by so much quicker now it's crazy.
I'm seriously thinking about taking it out to the 1/8 mile this Sunday night to see if I can get kicked out.
