ALT Fuse Keeps blowing

awesome_asim187 Senior Member Joined: Tue May 22, 2007 8:08 pm Posts: 454 Location: Northridge	ALT Fuse Keeps blowing My car has been sitting for a while. Im trying to start it but the 80A ALT fuse keeps popping. I have replaced it twice already and I dont know what could be the problem. the car is not getting any power anywhere. No lights turn on. NO power. Right before all this started happening. The fans turned on and then went off, since than everytime I replace the fuse it just blows once I connect the negative terminal. Can anyone help me diagnose this issue? _________________ Build it. Race it. Break it. Build it again.
