 dsm no more!!!!! Today my 95 eclipse gst burnt to the ground...dont know what happened but it stalled and just went up in flames...was going to put it on dyno in 2 weeks and hoping for 400whp...but not anymore..im going to be parting it off very soon...the rims were good the fire was only in the whole engine..fire department took fucking 20 min to get there..could have saved it if it only took 10 min..ive been building this car for 5 years and it was my 16th bday present...totally broken hearted...no more dsm for me guys..i need a beer or 20

Re: no more dsm for me!!! i know i cant blame them...but when i asked what took so long they couldnt give me an answer...cause there station was less then 3 min from where i was..they said they had 2 trucks at the house..i just feel they could have been there sooner to save my car. Its just a hard time cause ive invested every penny i have into that car. but everything happens for a reason

Re: no more dsm for me!!! Damn dude that sucks man GL on getting back on the road with another dsm. I saw the picks and damn dude what exactly caused your car to go up in flames. This is making me go double check all my stuff under my hood. Especially anything that has to do with gas lol.

Re: no more dsm for me!!! DAMN, that sucks!  I think a lot of us can feel your pain b/c we've put blood, sweat, and tears into our cars. This is a good reminder that EVERYONE should have a fire extinguisher in the car at all times. Is insurance going to help you out? Be sure to submit invoices for all the aftermarket parts. State Farm hooked me up when my Audi got totaled and I submitted all the records of stuff I had bought for the car. I also submitted install pics that I took for proof they were on the car. Good luck!

Re: no more dsm for me!!! ya no insurance just liability...so that car is scrap now haha...what started it was an electrical fire..falty wire we believe from my brights not working and then it sparked a little fire which melted my clutch line and the clutch fluid sprayed out and fueled the fire. Thats our estimate as of now.
